Job Description:
Our client is building a new governed Clinical Data Layer (CDL) to modernize the clinical data ecosystem.
A technical implementation partner will deliver the platform; this contingent will act as technical counterpart, ensuring architectural quality, governance, compliance, scalability, and alignment with internal standards.
The role is closer to a Technical Lead / Data Platform Architect than to a traditional Technical Analyst position.
Typical Day
- Review technical designs and architecture proposals
- Challenge solution designs from implementation partners
- Align solutions with Client architecture standards
Collaborate with:
- Enterprise Architects
- Solution Architects
- Security Architects
- Cloud Leads
- Data Governance teams
- Manage technical risks and dependencies
- Provide technical leadership during delivery
Oversee:
- Azure environments
- Databricks platform
- Unity Catalog
- CI/CD processes
- Release Management
- Metadata Management
- Data Lineage
- Data Contracts
- Coordinate technical discussions with vendors and stakeholders
Years of Experience
- Ideally 8+ years of relevant experience
- The manager is open to candidates with fewer years if they demonstrate strong expertise in similar clinical or data platform implementations
Must Have
- Strong Data Platform Architecture experience
- Strong Azure Cloud Architecture expertise
